Advert description
I am a permanent Faculty Member & a Visiting Lecturer at a few UK universities, as well as some HE institutions in the EU. I have over 5 years experience working with UG & PG (LLM) students, teaching various legal courses, convening and coordinating selected modules, lecturing, supervising dissertations, and acting as an external examiner, among others. I have also acted as a consultant to international organisations, and worked pro bono with various NGOs as a legal advisor, among others. In my capacity as a personal tutor and an academic guide, I have working on career development with numerous students, and coached those interested in particular areas of work.
As an academic, I remain active in research while attending numerous conferences annually, publishing in my niche field of expertise, and continuously advancing my subject-matter knowledge, as well as scholarly profile. In addition to law students, I have also worked with students doing degrees in criminology, IR, and sociology, given my interdisciplinary background, and diverse education, beyond the core legal training in the English Legal System.
I am happy to meet and discuss your academic needs - whether it be professional coaching, legal tutoring, legal skills and academic writing practice, SQE (or otherwise) preparation, learning academic English (I am a qualified English teacher from before changing career to law and starting my English law degree, subsequent LLM, and PhD) (I am also a recognised and certified Fellow of the Higher Ed Academy (FHEA)) and unique legal language of common law in the UK, or any others!
