I teach GCSE, A Level Geography and lower secondary ages as well

I have a Bachelor of Education degree (with honours) from Lancaster University. Geography was the main subject that I studied. I have taught Geography to students aged from 11 to 19. I taught for over 40 years. I have retired from classroom teaching and now specialise in private tutoring. I particularly like to help students who are not doing as well as they could in the classroom. I have found that students I have worked with benefit from my many years of experience. I like to establish a good working relationship with my students built on mutual respect. My lessons are interactive which gives students plenty of opportunity to show what they can do. Every student I teach is different and so I tailor the work that we do to meet the needs of the individual student.
