I presently study TESOL at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. I have an MA and BA in English with 5years teaching experience.

Using interactive exercises and problem-solving tasks with visual aids like videos and pictures has proven to be one of the most effective ways for me to help students develop their communicative competence throughout the years. Considering this would be a private class, my goal is to design a curriculum that best meets the needs of each student. The only goal of our sessions is to help each student become more competent in all four language skills so they can communicate effectively. I'll use activities like reading aloud, viewing English-language movies, listening to engaging podcasts, reading a story that piques the student's interest and verbally summarising it to accomplish this.
