Experienced teacher providing tutoring for A-level or GCSE Physics and Geography

Tutor for A Level /GCSE Physics; A-level/GCSE Geography or Environmental Science

I have a PhD in Climate Research, a Masters in Applied Meteorology and a degree in Environmental Science. I am an experienced teacher having a PGCE in Primary Education teaching all subjects at Key Stage 2 for 5 years, and my current job of 15 years teaching Foundation Physics (A-level) to overseas students. I have experience teaching classes, small groups and one-to-one. In teaching, I use quizzes, interactive resources, and videos to help students gain an understanding of key concepts required in the syllabus at the appropriate level. I will provide plenty of practice questions - physics in particular is about problem solving rather than the recall of knowledge.

I would prefer face-to-face tutoring in the Norwich area. As a teacher, I find that face-to-face teaching is much more interactive than being online as it is easier pick-up on nuances and monitor engagement and understanding. However, I have experience of and can tutor online if required. I will be available for tutoring from October 2023.

Face-to-Face charge per hour: £25 / hour
Online: £20 / hour
