Geography teacher teaches KS3, GCSE, A-Level

I am Katie, I am a current 2nd in department for Geography.I have both a QTS grade outstanding and PGCE qualification. I have a first class degree in physical geography from the university of Liverpool.

In 2022 I achieved 92% pass rate for my students in a middle set class, with a further 40% of those students gaining the top grades 7+. My class, despite being set 2, gained better results overall than the set 1 class.

I am a dynamic tutor, looking for more fun ways to become engaged with the learning.
I like to use writing frames in order to structure GCSE and A-Level questions. I use materials that are easy to understand, and are based around what you need to work on. I am flexible in what I teach in order to best suit you. My skills in Geography are towards physical geography as opposed to human especially at A-Level.

I am also an examiner for the largest exam board in the UK and have received the top rating for my examining technique having marked hundreds of papers across the country. I understand exactly what is needed to gain full marks, and how to break down difficult exam questions in order to access higher levels.
