University of Manchester Physics Graduate | Tutoring KS3, GCSE, and A-level Physics (Achieved Grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A-Level)

Hi, I'm Rico, a Physics graduate from the University of Manchester (2:1), starting teacher training in September.

Having achieved grade 9s at GCSE and A*s in Physics and Maths at A-Level, I know what it takes to reach the top grades, and love helping students achieve their academic goals.

Physics has given me enormous joy — from the awe of understanding the best explanations of how the universe works, to the satisfaction of a problem finally clicking into place. Passing that joy on is a big part of why I want to teach, and I work hard to make sure students experience that same feeling in our sessions.

Since my GCSEs I've been fascinated by the science of learning and I spent my final year at university researching exactly this, applying learning theory to physics education. I bring these evidence-based techniques into every session, tailored to each student.

I tutor KS3, GCSE and A-Level Physics, covering AQA and Edexcel, and I'm available to answer questions and send resources between sessions too.
