Rosie McCann - English and Literacy Learning Support Tutor (Primary)

I am a recent Social Sciences graduate aspiring to resume my Primary Education PGDE this autumn. Delving into my experience, I have worked for Bookmark as an Online Reading Volunteer. In this charity, volunteers work one-to-one with primary-aged children on their reading comprehension and literacy skills. I also volunteered for my local primary school, assisting teachers with whole-class learning and leading small group work.

I especially have a passion for teaching children with Additional Support Needs and children who may require a slower teaching pace to feel secure learning from people like myself. Finally, I am happy to tutor in Literacy/English and will work with the child to create attainable but ambitious learning goals.
