I think the key to teaching is specification. Each child needs something different to get them motivated and interested and I believe I can inspire anyone to start enjoying learning. The key to my method of tutoring would be to get to know the child and find out how to make them interested. For English specifically this could look like - finding specific books they are interested in or finding out what they want to write about and build on those skills. I love reading and writing and I hope that my own excitement is contagious!
