I have a 2:1 degree in English with History, many years experience as an English tutor and fifteen years experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. A calm and confident tutor who delights in helping tutees progress, wherever their starting point.

SEN experienced and happy to adapt sessions to the specific needs of the tutee. Home education for GCSE English Language and English Literature is also available.

Familiar with tutoring Edexcel, AQA and WJEC. exam boards.

As an experienced primary school HLTA I am also available for KS2 English.
I have also been a children's librarian and am enthusiastic about literacy.
