Hi, I’m Tahmid 👋
I’m a friendly and patient tutor specialising in GCSE and A Level Geography, as well as GCSE English Language and English Literature. I recently completed these subjects myself, so I have a strong understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to help students succeed.
Teaching style & lessons
My lessons are structured but relaxed. I focus on:
• Breaking down difficult topics into simple, clear explanations
• Using exam-style questions and real examples
• Building confidence as well as knowledge
• Tailoring lessons to each student’s strengths and weaknesses
I’m especially good at helping students who feel stuck or lack confidence, and I make sure they understand why answers get marks, not just what to memorise.

• GCSE Geography – Grade 8 (A)
• GCSE English Language – Grade 9 (A*)
• GCSE English Literature – Grade 9 (A*)
I have strong knowledge of the GCSE and A Level Geography curriculum, including case studies, exam technique, and extended writing. For English, I help with analysis, structure, language techniques, and essay planning, all tailored to GCSE mark schemes.
Tutoring experience
I have experience helping other students revise for exams, improve essays, and understand challenging topics. As a recent student, I know the common mistakes students make and how to avoid them.
