PhD Student with 3 years experience teaching International Relations and Political Science (In-Person or Online)

Hi, I'm Joe, I am a final year PhD student at Northumbria University, and I am here to help students develop their critical thinking and essay writing skills. I offer one-on-one sessions for students at university level, whether you're a first-year undergraduate student getting to grips with your course, or a final-year or master's students writing up their dissertation.

I have a 1st in International Relations and Security Studies (Master's), and I have over 3 years of teaching and marking experiences on various modules in Political Science and International Relations.

My sessions will be tailored towards your needs, to help you develop your critical thinking skills, understanding complex concepts or political theories, and applying these to real-world case studies and examples to keep our discussions memorable and informative.

I am also happy to help with essay planning and writing, assisting you with creating compelling arguments with a clear structure. For those writing dissertations, I am also happy to provide sessions on any struggles you have encountered and provide feedback on your work, based on my own experiences writing dissertations at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
