I have a near proficient level of spoken and written English, although from an non-English-speaking country myself

I am enthusiastic about English as a language and have grown up reading books, watching movies, and listening to movies in English. I received consistently high grades in English at school in India, my home country, with my final school grade in English being 95%. I have an 8.5/9 overall band score on the IELTS English Examination and have worked as a copyeditor of academic research articles for 1.5 years.
