Hello! I am Meghan, an EFL Teacher from Newcastle Upon Tyne. I spent 8 years in France tutoring children, both in home settings and schools, before coming back to the U.K this summer. I obtained a TEFL 120 hours certificate in 2023, and have been lucky enough to work with a range of people over the years diverse in age/ability/backgrounds. I spent 2 years working in a 1:1 role with a special needs student, enriching my capacity for patience and an empathetic approach. I also have a Montessori background, having done training in-

We can talk via whatsapp or zoom, as well as in person! I like to get to know my pupils before we decide together the most effective way we can work towards your goal. Everybody learns differently and I am happy to adapt and personalise to you. It may be a more traditional approach, learning from a textbook and completing exercises about specific texts. Or, a more creative way; writing songs and stories, artistic activities, presenting a podcast about a funny topic, I remain open minded! For me the goal is that you look forward to learning and let the progress come naturally. We got this.
