In depth approach to Spanish language with a particular focus on communicative skills

Communicating in Spanish has been an essential part of my life not only as a native speaker but also as a way of living. I come from Cuba and have a background in Social Communication. Over the past two decades, I have worked as a broadcast reporter and creative writing teacher at the Faculty of Communication, University of Havana. So, speaking properly in Spanish is fundamental for people like me, who regard journalism and social sciences as their passion. In addition to that, I am doing my postgraduate studies in the field of language-based areas at Newcastle University, UK.

My classes are going to be limited to the teaching of new words, colloquial phrases, and grammar structures. I want you actively approach to the Spanish language culture by watching TV series and listening to salsa music, flamenco, or rumba. We will use a personalized learning process, so we can pay particular attention to all pupils' needs and find a practical way of getting into the fabulous world of the Spanish language, which is not only confined to Spain but extends to Latin America, Africa, and other regions of the world with Spanish-speaking communities.
