Hello, I’m Dorothy — a native Mandarin speaker originally from Malaysia, now based in the UK. With a multicultural background and over five years of hands-on experience in tutoring and translation, I bring both linguistic expertise and an educator’s understanding to every lesson.

I hold a Master’s degree in Education (Special Educational Needs & Inclusion) from the UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Taiwan. These qualifications have shaped my approach to teaching: patient, adaptive, and grounded in evidence-based learning strategies. Currently, I work as a Mandarin tutor, personal assistant for autistic individuals and early interventionist, roles that further strengthen my ability to communicate clearly, support diverse learning needs, and design practical, student-centred learning experiences.
