Cambridge alumnus offering private tutoring

I’ve always loved languages and the opportunities they create to connect with people and cultures, and I enjoy helping others discover that for themselves. I studied German and French at Jesus College, Cambridge, before going on to live and work in both Germany and Switzerland. While in Switzerland, I taught English as a Foreign Language in a French-speaking secondary school, an experience that deepened my understanding of both language learning and teaching, and over the years I have tutored many individuals and small groups.

I now live in Newcastle upon Tyne, where I work in the cultural sector. Alongside my professional work, I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to share my enthusiasm for languages and support students in achieving their own goals.

I offer tuition in German, French, and English as a Foreign Language, and I believe that every learner is different. Whether you're preparing for exams, brushing up on your conversational skills, learning for work or travel, or simply studying for the pleasure of it, I'll tailor lessons to suit your individual needs, interests, and pace.
