I am a teacher who encourages her students to be persistent. Even through the tough challenges of being a teacher, I'm a teacher who remains energetic and positive. My lessons are aimed at students who would benefit from differentiated learning.

I am a special education teacher with experience, I currently teach a 6th grade self-contained class. I will teach my students by providing visuals to support the conceptualization and understanding of the topic I will be teaching. Also, step by step process will be provided to support students who need simpler directions. Short responses will be modified from their original; students will have the option to use sentence frames to support their learning. Additional processing time will be provided for students who would benefit from it. Process: Use of technology for engagement. Activity will be modified from its original; a segment will be added to provide students with a direct/explicit review of the demonstration on how to complete their assignments. Guiding questions and direct sources to facilitate the success of the student. A checklist will be introduced to ensure the students succeed in completing the assignments.
