Experienced Psychology Tutor

I have a PhD, as well as two Master's in Psychology, and have taught a variety of Psychology courses over a period of 7 years. I believe in scaffolding my students, making sure that they have a strong foundation in the basic concepts so that they are able to understand more complex material as the course progresses. I believe in providing learning aides in a variety of formats, such as instructional videos, study guides, and online quiz games.

I have won an award for outstanding teaching in Psychology, and strive to continuously deserve that award with every course that I teach. If my student is not understanding material, I will work my best to present the material in many different ways and work with their unique style of learning.

I also bring my unique perspective as a memory researcher in the fields of Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience. I have been studying how to improve memory processes in college age students for the past 12 years, and will bring that expertise to my tutoring sessions in order to maximize learning for my students.
