Looking for a tutor to help you learn English as a foreign language? Look no further

I’m a bilingual tutor with a genuine passion for languages, communication, and helping others build confidence in their language-learning journey.
Having experience tutoring Welsh to a wide range of learners, including children, teenagers, young adults, and mature university students, I understand that everyone learns differently. I aim to create a supportive, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable practising, asking questions, making mistakes, and progressing at their own pace.
I’m currently learning Spanish, so I know first-hand what it’s like to learn a new language as an adult while balancing other commitments. This experience has given me a personal understanding of the challenges learners can face, from finding the time and confidence to practise to navigating unfamiliar grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I believe this perspective helps me approach teaching with empathy, patience, and an appreciation of the process.

My approach to tutoring is centred on making learning engaging, practical, and relevant to each individual’s goals. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, develop your vocabulary, strengthen your grammar, work on pronunciation, or feel more confident using English in everyday life, I aim to tailor lessons to suit your needs, interests, and learning style.

As a bilingual speaker and language learner myself, I understand the value of clear explanations, real-life examples, and building confidence through practice. I want my students to feel supported throughout their learning journey and to recognise that learning a language is a process, not a race.

Whether you are just starting to learn English or looking to improve your existing skills, I would love to help you develop your confidence, communicate more naturally, and achieve your language-learning goals in a relaxed and positive environment.
