Learn Russian with a Native Expert – Fun, Interactive & Cultural Lessons!

I have been learning Russian online with Mari for over two years. I really enjoy our lessons and have grown in confidence in both speaking and reading Russian. It's not the easiest language to learn, but Mari's tutoring has made it a pleasure even when my brain aches a bit. Our lessons are varied. Mari has used text books of an appropriate level to structure my learning, but the time is also balanced with plenty of opportunity for conversation practise, learning to talk about daily life in a real way. Mari uses a many teaching methods and resources to keep the learning fresh. I have enjoyed learning about Russian traditions and popular culture. I have gained an appreciation for Russian poetry and classic literature as well as children's cartoons, family tv shows and current musical artists. Mari has a real grasp of both the theory and reality of how language works. I would highly recommend her lessons and think I will be studying with her for a while yet in my quest for fluency.
