Hi I'm Krish, a tutor dedicated to achieve your academic goals! As a badminton athlete who frequently has to train and travel, I understand how important it is to revise effectively, leading me to create structured plans so each session will help in improving your academic performance. I will ensure you are able to understand concepts and more importantly be able to implement what you have learn within an exam to achieve the highest grades!
My lessons usually start off by ensuring students have a strong understanding of the concept. Once this is established, I focus on applying this knowledge to exam-style questions. Through incorporating plenty of past papers and a variety of exam questions, students are able to become comfortable with any type of question, and are able to achieve the highest grades they desire.
My teaching style focuses heavily on exam readiness, and the importance of applying content to exams. I believe a strong understanding of core concepts is just the start in achieving high grades, and it is even more important to understand how to answer questions as effectively as possible. As a result, I believe in going through lots of past papers and frequently asked exam questions, therefore building ability and confidence in the process.
Using myself as an example, I was able to make the jump from an E grade to an A grade in my A level exams for both Maths and Biology. At first I was unsure why I had strong understanding of theory and well prepared notes yet continued to struggle in mock exams, however once I become used to the fairly repetitive nature of exam questions, I was swiftly able to achieve the high grades required to get into my first choice university
