Hi. I am Dr. Rehman (BSc, MSc, PhD, PgCiLT), a highly experienced GCSE Science tutor with over 25 years of teaching experience and a proven track record of helping students improve their grades, confidence and exam performance.

I provide online GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science tuition across the UK, covering AQA, OCR, Edexcel, iGCSE and WJEC.

My classes are deliberately kept very small, with a maximum of just 3 students, ensuring every student has the opportunity to ask questions, receive individual attention and benefit from lessons tailored to their specific exam board and needs.

My teaching approach goes beyond simply covering the syllabus. I focus on understanding difficult topics, revision strategies, exam technique, past-paper questions, practical skills, graphs, scientific terminology and, particularly, how to answer challenging 6-mark questions.

I have worked as a Lecturer at the University of Sheffield Medical School for over 14 years, where I have been involved in setting and marking examinations and have experience as both an internal and external examiner. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching (PG CiLT) from the University of Sheffield, alongside my BSc (Hons), MSc and PhD qualifications.

Many of my students have made significant improvements in a relatively short period, moving up grade boundaries and developing the confidence to succeed. Former students have progressed to demanding careers and university courses including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry, Cardiac Physiology, Biomedical Sciences and Nursing.
