Hello, dear student! If you are looking for a friendly, patient and experienced English teacher, I would be very happy to help you on your English-learning journey. I have over 30 years of experience teaching English to students in Southeast Asia, working with learners of different ages, levels and abilities. Over the years, I have learned that every student is different, so I like to tailor my lessons to your individual needs, interests and goals. I particularly enjoy teaching one-to-one and two-to-one lessons because they give us the opportunity to focus on what you really want to improve — whether that is conversation, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, confidence or simply having someone to practise speaking English with. I can also communicate at an intermediate level in Chinese, which has helped me understand the challenges students can sometimes experience when learning English. I would now love the opportunity to meet students from different countries and cultures. I believe learning a language is not only about studying words and grammar; it is also about communicating, sharing ideas, learning about each other and making new friends along the way. My lessons are relaxed, friendly and encouraging. I want you to feel comfortable speaking English, making mistakes and asking questions. Most importantly, I want you to enjoy learning.
