I think I am someone who likes to advocate for younger people. My role includes assessment and lifestyle education.

I am a registered nurse and part of my role is coaching student nurses as a practice assessor/supervisor. I also facilitate medical students with online lived experience sessions for older adults with Dementia. I coach and discuss with my students their approach and how to ask difficult questions, with regard to lifestyle choices and legislation. I have completed all mandatory training including safeguarding training. I completed’A’ levels in English Geography and Chemistry and ‘O’ levels when I was at school so I’m aware of the academic pressures students face. I would encourage students to consider questions and to be aware of the bigger picture and others points of view, To pace their learning and to consider their study and learning style while focusing on weaker areas. And to question things!
