Maths tutor that teaches children from the ages of 9 - 16 years

Advert description
For over three years, I had the privilege to teach mathematics to junior secondary students both during school hours and after school hours. In addition, whenever I get the chance, I also teach maths and accounting to children and youths from less advantaged areas as a means to rekindle their hope, expose them to the benefits of learning, and inspire them to dream big with the hope that they would be how their families transition out of poverty. Teaching mathematics is something I do with ease because I try to simplify it to the best of my ability for the student's easy assimilation. In addition, while in primary, secondary and university, maths was a subject I found easy to understand and explain.

I have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, I am also a qualified accountant from Nigeria but I live in Manchester. Presently, I am doing a master's programme in managing innovation and information technology at the University of Salford.

My teaching style is highly adaptable because every student is unique, so I try to adjust to the student’s level of assimilation. I would also like to state that my style is result driven. I set and define each student's academic goals, and milestones while putting into consideration their personality as a guide to developing a plan on how to help each student achieve their set target.

I look forward to joining the Find Tutors team as an online tutor to further foster my work with children.

Highly recommended.she took the job of tutoring my son very seriously, was patient in teaching him, and really had a true desire for him to be the best. I would also like to thank the Tutoring Center for offering these services; they are helpful.” “I would just like to let you know that queeta has been doing such an amazing job tutoring my son. Queenta poccesses the following qualities which a great tutors should have: Excellent organisational skills. Fantastic communication skills. Good subject knowledge and Curriculum knowledge. Tutoring offers systematic, structured learning experience in a more individualized way. It also improves the tutee's self-esteem, attitude toward subject matter, and academic performance as well as personal growth.
