Experienced Private Tutor – Primary, Secondary & A-Level Support I am an experienced and dedicated private tutor offering tailored academic support for primary and secondary school pupils, as well as A-Level students in: Biology Chemistry Psychology Physical Education English Language & English Literature My background combines education, healthcare, and specialist support. I worked in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school before completing my nurse training, and later qualified as a registered nurse with further training in advanced clinical studies. I have also worked extensively in nursing education, supporting student nurses and junior clinicians, which has strengthened my passion for teaching and mentoring. Having recently left the NHS, I am now focusing on supporting children and young people to reach their full potential and thrive in a positive, supportive learning environment, outside the pressures of mainstream classrooms. What I offer: Support for all ages and abilities, including children with special educational needs and neurodiversity Calm, encouraging, confidence-building teaching style Lessons tailored to individual learning needs and goals Face-to-face tutoring (home or local libraries preferred) Remote lessons available if required Fully DBS checked I also have a fully qualified therapy dog, available to support children who may benefit from additional emotional or mental health support during sessions. I previously worked in GP surgeries across the Manchester area and bring a professional, patient, and compassionate approach to all tutoring sessions.
