I am a fully qualified teacher of secondary school Mathematics.

This year I am retiring from classroom teaching with the aim of teaching students remotely. I have always done private tutoring alongside my classroom teaching. My aims continue to assess the students understanding and current grades, work to understand their way of working, to build confidence and encourage them to be comfortable making mistakes, work alongside the topics that they are currently working and prepare them in advance for their subsequent topics. we will work on mathematical skills and then apply them to solve problems. We will use a variety of online resources. We will work through practice and past papers of the exam boards which they will sit. I will keep students/carers informed of their progress.
