Advert description
I am a science teacher trainee with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and work experience with SEND students. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their confidence.
I listen to each student and collaboratively identify their strengths, areas for improvement, and personal learning goals. Lessons are tailored to their needs, whether that is developing a deeper understanding of challenging concepts, improving exam technique, or building confidence in answering questions independently. I also have experience working with students who have SEND needs and would love to create a safe space for them to learn
I use clear explanations, active questioning, and exam-style practice to help students apply their knowledge effectively. Rather than simply memorising content, I want students to understand the “why” behind Biology and develop the skills to approach problems confidently.
My goal is to support students in recognising their progress, overcoming areas of difficulty, and becoming more confident learners. I am passionate about providing the guidance and encouragement I would have valued when I was a student myself.
