Experienced KS2, KS3, and GCSE Mathematics Tutor with a true passion for helping students achieve the highest possible grades

I’m currently a 4th-year MPharm student at the University of Manchester. I have almost 4 years of experience tutoring KS2, KS3, and GCSE maths online, both on a 1-1 basis and in a group setting. With my A* in A-Level Mathematics and a 9 in GCSE Mathematics, I’m confident in my ability to guide my students toward mastering the right techniques, fostering the correct mindset, and building confidence to attain exceptional results in Maths.

I’m approachable, friendly, and will always make sure I explain complex mathematical concepts in an easily understandable manner. I will ensure my students learn something new in each lesson and are happy with their progress. I structure my lessons to ensure they are as interactive as possible and adapt to each student’s learning style.

In summary, my lessons are structured in 3 steps:
Step 1: Identifying weaknesses - Usually through past papers, the student’s own experiences, etc.
Step 2: Working on their weaknesses – Usually involving teaching the concepts and practicing a variety of questions, from easy to hard.
Step 3: Strengthening their weaknesses so that they become strengths – Usually involving homework for further practice.
