English Literature AQA

I'm a qualified teacher with a PGCE and QTS, and I have a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art, Art History and Curating. I have experience working with children across different age groups and abilities, and I’m passionate about creating supportive, engaging and enjoyable learning experiences.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and encouraging. I adapt my lessons to suit each individual student, whether they need help building confidence, understanding a challenging topic, preparing for an exam, or simply want to strengthen their existing knowledge.

As a qualified teacher, I understand that every student learns differently. I use questioning, discussion, modelling and personalised activities to help students develop genuine understanding and become more confident and independent learners.

I aim to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through challenges. My goal is not only to help students achieve their academic goals, but also to help them feel more confident and positive about learning!
