Edexcel A-level Maths specialist (A), clear exam-focused tutoring

I specialise in Edexcel A-level Maths and I tutor with a clear, structured and exam-focused approach. I achieved A* in A-level Maths, A in Further Maths and A in Physics, and I understand what it takes to perform well under timed exam conditions. My lessons are designed to be supportive and efficient: we reduce stress by making every topic feel predictable, with step-by-step methods and plenty of guided practice.

In the first session, I run a short diagnostic to identify gaps in knowledge, common mistakes and weak exam technique. Then we build a personalised plan based on your target grade and timeline. Each lesson typically includes: (1) a quick recap of key ideas and formulas, (2) clear explanation of the concept using simple language and examples, (3) exam-style questions with full working and mark-scheme structure, and (4) timed practice to improve speed and accuracy. I also use an “error log” system so you can track recurring mistakes and fix them permanently.

I can support Pure, Statistics and Mechanics for Edexcel A-level Maths, and I also offer GCSE Maths support if needed. Homework and targeted practice questions can be provided after each lesson, with feedback to help you improve every week. Lessons are available online or in-person in Manchester, and I am flexible with scheduling: weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
