I am able to adapt to the specific needs and levels of the student, giving examples that help them understand the logical framework of the English language through a creative focus on phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics. I have developed a teaching philosophy that emphasizes creativity, hands-on learning, and clear communication. I believe that the most effective way for students to learn a new language is not through traditional lectures but through dynamic, interactive methods that keep students engaged and motivated. From using visual aids, games, and real-world scenarios to creating immersive cultural experiences, I tailor my lessons to make learning both enjoyable and practical. I also place a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding, particularly when working with students who are navigating the complexities of learning a foreign language. I recognize that language barriers can create feelings of frustration or isolation, and I strive to create an inclusive environment where every student feels heard, respected, and valued. By taking the time to understand each student’s unique learning style and challenges, I am able to offer personalized support that encourages both linguistic and emotional growth. My teaching of the English language comes from a place of understanding the difficulties and complexities of adapting to a new culture, coming from an immigrant background myself. Through this teaching, students not only develop their reading, speaking and listening skills, they also learn new ways of relating to their surroundings and everyday life through this new language.
