Maths tutor for Key Stage 1 & 2 and Key Stage 3 & 4 with a hands-on, encouraging approach

Hello, my name is Elspeth, and I will be your tutor for today. I will be taking you on math. I love math because it is a means to quantify, or rather explain, what we see around us, which means you can always use objects around you to understand math. Just open your imagination, and numbers can be your friend. This means we will start with the basics. I work in small steps, starting with real things like coins or pizza slices. Expect patience, honesty and real encouragement. Mistakes are welcome, because they show us where to focus. Ask any question, however silly, and we will make math make sense. Let’s begin!
