I have always been a fan of a structured syllabus combined with an unstructed curiosity for research. So, I bring research-led teaching and able to break down complex content in A Levels and GCSE Biology and GCSE Chemistry , to help student answer according to the specification from different exam boards. I tailor the content to the individual student needs and set a pace for them to cope with the workload. I use practise questions to apply knowledge and so students will try a variety of questions within any given topic. I am a firm believer in familiarity of content vs memorisation, i.e. if they know the fundamentals, they can work out the questions. I set my own short exam papers by combining actual AQA or Edexcel past year questions so students are not doing an individual paper from front to back but selected questions that will reinforce what they have learnt.
