I aim to make sessions enjoyable and productive, adapting to you, and am prepared to give lessons in person or online. If you feel out of place in school, I will try to inspire you by creating tasks that are linked with your interests. I have worked with a student whose second language was English and helped her by cutting down the number of quotations she had to learn for Literature, choosing the most important and memorable and giving a clear structure to follow. I am used to writing sample GCSE answers in both English language and Literature and have studied GCSE mark schemes as well as watched YouTube tutorials from exam boards. My aim is to help you achieve the best grade you can and tailor my teaching to suit you.
