English, Study Skills and University Prep Tutor with ESOL Optional

I’m an English tutor who enjoys helping students grow in confidence with English Language, English Literature, and preparation for university study. I work with GCSE, A level, and pre-university students, supporting them with essay writing, exam skills, close reading, and independent study. I know that English can feel daunting at times, especially during important transition points, so I focus on creating a calm, supportive learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying things out. Lessons are tailored to each student, with a clear focus on steady progress, confidence, and feeling ready for the demands of university. I can also offer additional support for students who use English as an additional language where helpful.
