Experienced qualified maths tutor up to GCSE level

I am a fully UK qualified maths teacher with over 30 years in the classroom and more 5 years as a private tutor. I have a master’s degree and qualified teacher status together with an enhanced DBS check.

I offer tuition to students of a wide range of ages and all abilities for a range of courses & exams, including KS2, KS3, 11+, 13+, GCSE, entrance exams and numeracy tests.

All lessons are tailored to the needs of the student. I set (optional) homework at the end of the lesson so that students can consolidate on the learning that has taken place during the lesson. The following lesson I check the homework has been completed successfully and go over any questions that the student found difficult. Near exam time, the lessons are focussed on exam techniques and practice papers.

The lessons take place online or in person at my home. I regret I am too busy to visit homes or schools.
