English tutor teaches foreign students in middle school

I am a retired civil engineer with an interest in the English language and publishing. I believe I can help foreign students who take English as a second language overcome the hesitancy that comes from fear of embarrassment, and conquer the common errors in grammar which real-time translation in the mind produces.

My background includes a lot of reading, movie watching, technical writing, and editing of websites and presentations.

English is my first language, and I am fluent in it. Though I have not tutored formally before at this level. I'm willing to learn very quickly though countering any challenges that come up, including requested variations in teaching methodologies.

Being retired, I can dedicate significant amounts of time as needed to handle special requests for personal attention, and customise lessons for each student or group of students.
