Lessons would be planned to cover any weak points that need to be covered and understood in the syllabus, with a focus on giving the student a full understanding of topics rather than asking them to blindly accept information without explanation. Mathematics is a subject that requires knowledge to be built on previous knowledge, so it is my job to help them to fill in those gaps and, in turn, inspire confidence and comfortability in what is otherwise quite a daunting subject for many students, even top performers. An initial test run through syllabus checkpoints and any information that can be provided by teachers would be the springboard into personalised and targeted tuition, ensuring no gaps are left and guaranteeing improved exam performance (including exam techniques themselves)
