I would describe myself as diligent, charismatic and patient, eager to help, inspire and share knowledge with others.

My experience is self teaching content to myself over the years for GCSEs and Alevels. I’ve also been a private tutor before with one of my students getting into his secondary school after passing his entrance exam I had tutored him for. I strongly believe although learning is about retention and using new information, it is just as much about confidence in one’s self and understanding, adding meaning and asking questions. I will teach interactively using active recall and breaking down large bits of information into digestible chunks. I will encourage questions and explaination from the student to ensure content isn’t memorised but understood. I will also teach tips and tricks of how to revise as I’ve just finished my Alevels and learnt a lot about what worked for me so will try and help students find what works for them.
