I have experience within health and social care, which has helped me develop strong communication, listening, empathy, patience and interpersonal skills. I am currently studying for a BA (Hons) degree in Health and Social Care at university, which is further developing my knowledge of supporting individuals with different needs and circumstances. I also have personal experience of autism through my brother, as well as experience supporting and interacting with families who have children with learning difficulties. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of patience, compassion, clear communication and adapting support to suit each individual.
