I am a warm, welcoming tutor who wants to share a love of physics and mathematics with anyone who considers themselves curious!

It's important to first get to know a student and how they work so that I can best help them. I find it most useful to start with a review of foundational concepts before applying them to problems, working through them together until the student feels more than confident solving problems on their own.

I have tutored peers throughout most of my education, most recently as a grader and teacher's assistant at Vassar College. As a recent graduate, I can still empathize with the student's problem-solving, test-oriented mindset while also seeing the big picture - what's more important is truly understanding the mathematical structures behind the problems and practicing repetition. Maths and science are a tool for "working out the muscle" of the brain, so we need to keep up a constant practice.
