I used to work as a teacher in the Philippines in the traditional school setup for five years. I became a college instructor first, then I moved to a home school program as an English Facilitator. Lastly, I became a Senior High School Teacher until the covid pandemic happened. I instantly switched to online teaching. I had the pleasure of being a Senior Online ESL Teacher to Chinese students for three years, and I should say that I had already exposed myself to different behaviors from the most serious to the most naughty kind of learners. True enough, I successfully handled them as most of them stayed with me for years. My skill in teaching always comes with a kind of personal touch as I get to know first my students. So I do not focus on the lesson at the beginning of the class. Then, I tend to focus on areas where my students want to improve.
