Advert description
With two master’s degrees in biosciences and neuroscience, alongside an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences, I bring a high level of expertise to my tutoring. This academic background allows me to provide a deep, thorough understanding of science, breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible lessons. Whether you need help with GCSEs, A-Levels, or more specialised topics, my approach is tailored to your learning style, helping you not only prepare for exams but truly understand the material. The first few lessons focus on identifying strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles to build rapport and address any gaps in knowledge. Having ADHD, I understand the challenges of traditional learning, so I work to create a stress-free, paced environment. I adapt the curriculum to the student’s exam board and go beyond the syllabus to ensure long-term understanding. I also provide custom resources (analogies, visual aids) to clarify difficult concepts. I’ve worked with students with learning differences, including dyslexia, and can adjust my methods accordingly. Over the years, I’ve helped GCSE students struggling with science improve their grades from 4s to 7s or even 9s. My goal is to make science both understandable and engaging, showing students its real-world relevance while boosting their confidence and exam readiness.
