I think building trust with the students is very important. I would start by creating a friendly and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without feeling judged. I would take time to understand their current level, their difficulties and their goals, and then adapt my explanations to suit them. Rather than simply giving them the answers, I would guide them through the reasoning step by step and encourage them to work things out themselves. I would also give positive and constructive feedback so they can see their progress and gradually become more confident and independent.
