Advert description
I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, having recently completed my Master’s. I have extensive experience tutoring essay-based subjects, supporting students with university applications and personal statements, and guiding them into top Russell Group universities. Usually, I tutored Korean students, given my bilingual background, which allowed me to explain complex concepts clearly in both English and Korean.
In my teaching, I aim to go beyond simple grade improvement. I encourage students to discover motivation and passion in their studies, helping them grow through the sense of achievement that comes with genuine progress. While academic performance ultimately depends on each student’s own effort and attitude, I strive to make the learning process enjoyable and meaningful through continuous praise and encouragement.
My lessons emphasize positive feedback and motivation rather than strictness, while remaining flexible to each student’s individual learning style and needs. Some students thrive on structured study plans and detailed guidance, while others find fulfillment through creative thinking and discussion. I adapt my methods accordingly to maximize their learning experience.
Ultimately, my teaching philosophy extends beyond knowledge delivery: I aim to cultivate critical thinking and independent learning skills. This not only helps students achieve short-term academic success but also builds long-term confidence and a positive attitude toward learning.
