I teach English to children and adults online and in person. I teach in the northern cities of Georgia (United States). As a psychology student I am able to adapt to each person’s learning style and as a result people will learn English more effectively.

My main priority in teaching children or adults English would be to ensure that they are comfortable. It is imperative for them to feel safe enough to make mistakes and ask questions because these are key factors in learning. After they have become comfortable, their learning style will be taken into consideration. Some people are visual learners while others may be auditory learners; figuring out what kind of learner a person is will make keeping the information simple for them. Then we will begin to take our time to learn and understand English. Moving at a pace that works for the child or adult is helpful, and the patience I have acquired through my university degree program will aid in making the tutoring sessions successful.
