Advert description
As a PhD researcher in Marketing/Business/Management, I specialise in helping Bachelor’s and Master’s students develop a rigorous academic mindset. Rather than memorising templates, I teach how to frame a paper from the right perspective: identifying the research problem, selecting suitable theories, building defensible arguments, and aligning structure, methods and evidence with learning outcomes and marking criteria. In practice, I use friendly but highly respectful, student-centred sessions: brief diagnostics, clear targets, Socratic questioning to surface assumptions, and step-by-step scaffolding to craft arguments, integrate sources, and refine academic writing (structure, coherence, criticality, referencing, and originality). I provide precise, actionable feedback on assignments, and I support applications (research proposals, motivation letters, CVs) by clarifying fit, contribution and tone. My approach builds confidence, independence and ethical scholarship—students leave knowing not just what to write, but how and why to think like an academic.
