Stuck, feeling lost in maths, I'll help you!

I will start with basic problems and allow the student to tell me more about their understanding of the topic. From this information, I will then begin to observe their style of thinking and tailor my explanation towards that, then I will begin adding tips and tricks onto their current knowledge of the topic so they can slowly build up to have enough confidence to solve more tricky and difficult problems that once looked too complex to them before the lesson.
