Spanish tutor teaches adults

My name is: Alexa Veitia, I was born in Venezuela and I live in Mexico. I am a certified ELE teacher and I have experience helping students improve their Spanish vocabulary and their oral, written and listening comprehension through storytelling and immersive reading.

I am currently studying a degree in speech and language therapist and I am perfecting my English, I am also studying Greek

HOW DO I TEACH?
I mainly teach with the natural approach method, language acquisition and comprenhensible input developed by Stephen Krashen. I teach students how they can learn Spanish the same way they acquired their first language, by listening and reading.

When we listen and read understandable messages, we acquire language effortlessly, naturally, without thinking, since our brain processes linguistic information,
We acquire language, vocabulary and grammar by reading and listening to language that our brain is capable of processing.

Its about understand the message, listen repeadly in differents context
Languages need to be heard, which is why I focus on creating understandable material adapted to the student's level and following the structure of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. I focus on teaching to ACQUIRE languages by listening and inmersive reading. Then I create tests that allow me to see the student's performance and know what points to reinforce
